Position: Building Surveyor
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Undertook condition surveys across a wide range of buildings from 1750 – 2010 construction typologies. Provided reports to building managers on building defects and the repair and maintenance projects for the forthcoming 20 year cyclical works plan.
- Wrote repair specifications and produced AutoCAD drawings to provide information to contractors and for project tender. Managed project tenders and carried out tender reports.
- Wrote and submitted planning permission, listed building consent, scheduled monument consent and conservation area consent applications.
- Attended and contributed to quarterly progress meetings for each site.
- Worked with facilities managers, carrying out building inspections for reactive building pathological issues.
- Assisted senior building surveyors on projects including the external re-decoration and roof repair scheme to Central London buildings.
